Content - Quizzicle is a radio quiz/game panel show. It will start with an introduction to the show and the contestants. There will be two teams with three members on each team. Throughout the show the teams will compete to win fun quizzes and games (which can connect to each other e.g. a game is the basis for a series of mini-quizzes or vise versa) suited for radio.
The quizzes will be made of fun, obscure questions about unusual facts, general knowledge, and current affairs.
The games will be humourous and create responses from the contestants and presenters.

Questions & etc. - Quiz questions are in the style of pub quiz questions. Presenter gives website link and recommends listeners to view other subjects there.
Styles of music used - All songs and pieces of music are used for quizzes and games, so they only small snippets are played instead of the full songs. All songs will be popular and well recognised songs, no obscure ones.

I have completed the task given above.
I need to prepare for radio concept presentation to support my idea.
How is it different - Comedy panel quiz for the radio. The style is common as a T.V. show but rare for radio today. It relies on jokes and funny statements instead of visual humour, and due to this the structure might have to be altered to convert it from a standard T.V. structure to suit it for radio .
Age/Gender - 15 to 20 year olds. Appeals to both genders, allowing for larger community audience.
Hammocked - Quizzicle will be hammocked between Sheffield Live! Jukebox and Sounzaboutright. Sheffield Live! Jukebox is a show that focuses on playing music, making it easy listening before the quiz show, which doesn't play as much music but still plays snippets of popular songs. Sounzaboutright shares a similar style to Quizzicle as it plays music and has conversations in between on different subjects, usually relating what's in the news.
How does it provide a gap in the market - The main focus is comedy and entertainment and doesn't require interviews with celebrity guests, as the contestants just have to be people who provide fun-reactions instead of people who are known publicly. Many radio shows rely on celebrities to interview or perform, but this show does not feature live performances or interviews (except for pieces of conversation and banta between guests and presenters). This radio show relies on the interesting items, such as different styled games and quizzes, that the contestants and audience will enjoy.

My competitor might be Gemma Cairney's radio show, as both shows would be aired at the same time and features chat and music.
