19/1/15 - Improvements made
19/1/15 - Below is the work I completed today, listing improvements that will be added to our pitch.
Airing
Time & Ofcom –
Quizzicle doesn’t include any inappropriate
content, meaning that it isn’t necessary for it to be aired after the
watershed. Any crude language or slander said by any of the contestants will be
edited out – This is why it’s necessary for the show to recorded first and
aired later, so that none of these possible Ofcom issues will aired.
Songs played willed be analysed before be
used for the show to avoid playing any songs that may cause controversy (e.g.
language, meaning behind song).
Copyright
Permission & PRS License –
Sound effects (Buzzers, dings) and ident
are free for use and do not require the PRS permission.
Snippets of certain songs are required as
answers for some questions. To avoid any copyright issues, we will have to collect
PRS permission to include it in the show; If we cannot got the PRS permission,
we will not include that song/music/question in Quizzicle.
Content
Examples –
Description of games. Examples of possible
quiz questions.
Quizzicle
Local Links -
The show will feature local guests. All Yorkshire
contestants.
Quizzes may feature questions that relate
to local Sheffield/Yorkshire news. E.g. A question about the Tour De Yorkshire.
Market
Position -
Mainstream panel show. Targets a large
audience. Not many panel shows for the radio, stand out amongst other radio
shows.
To complete - Further explain the content examples.
